The Department of English was established with a UG Programme, B.A. English, in the year of 2016. In view of growing demand in English Language and Literature, M.A. English was added in the department during the academic year 2019-2020. It is the largest department to teach General English to all the departments and major subjects to the home department. Readers’ Club and Literaria Association enrich students’ language fluency.
To envisage the department as a hub of academic quality, professional experience, and contextual research in English Studies.
