The Department of English was established with a UG Programme B.A. English in the year 2016. In view of growing demand in English Language and Literature, M.A. English was added in the department during the academic year 2019-2020. It is the large department to teach General English to all departments and major subjects to the home department. Readers‟ Club and Literary Association enrich students‟ language fluency.
To envisage the department as a hub of academic quality, professional experience, and contextual research in English Studies.
